The focus of this contract was to improve the plants ability to cope with Peak / Storm flows. The design was undertaken by Harrison Grierson.

As head contractor Service Engineers contract included; installation of the Acti-flow (Veolia proprietary storm flow unit), UV plant, disc thickener, and associated pumps, valves, and pipe work, also electrical and mechanical works. Installation of break tank, pumps and associated pipe work, alum and polymer tanks complete with dosing pumps and pipe work. Construction of UV building, and platform modifications.
