In February 2016, Service Engineers Ltd was selected to build three shaft less screw conveyors to convey dewatered sludge from the discharge chute of the two decanter centrifuges into two new 12.5m3 sludge bins, which were also supplied by SEL.

All three conveyors featured 350 carbon steel screws fitted in 316SS troughs with UHMWPE liners and separate drive units. Each conveyor was fitted with stainless steel inlet and outlet chutes and one viewport with safety mesh. The final conveyor was fitted with two discharges with pneumatically operated slide gates and retractable chutes.

The bins were fitted with electrical equipment on board including electronic shear pin and rotation detection.
