Auckland Motorway Alliance contracted Service Engineers Limited to fabricate and install a Penstock in the Grafton Gully SQID Tank. In this contract, SEL's role was to supply a Penstock in Marine Grade Aluminium - supplied with frames, stainless steel rising stems and fixings, seals and actuator.

The job was undertaken in a high risk area, with a potential of uncontrolled release from any of the many feeding channels into the SQID tank.  All installation works were completed in an enclosed space, all the while with slow release of water into the tank.
