This contract was to install and commission new intake screens, and client supplied air compressors at Warkworth and Wellsford Water Treatment Plants.  Diveco was subcontracted for the installation of the underwater work and Davco Electrical was the client nominated electrical subcontractor.  The contract included removal of the old inlet screens, installation of new airlines, associated electrical work, and fabrication and installation of stainless steel pipework.  Service Engineers fabricated, installed and commissioned stainless steel stiffener plates, and part of the intake screens.

Major hazards on this contract included underwater work within confined space and remote access to site creating difficulties with lifting and heights. River levels were also monitored to ensure the safety of divers and other contractors.
